Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in increasingly difficult inspection using sophisticated measuring techniques.
• Experience programming CMM quality inspections.
• Solid understanding of GD&T for CMM applications.
• IPC-610 certified.

Responsibilities

• Supports manufacturing and testing operations under GMP and GLP to satisfy regulatory requirements for receiving and inspection.
• Performs tier 1, 2 and 3 inspections to test inbound material for assembly of complex medical devices.
• Writes and runs CMM programs and ensures CMMs operate at peak performance with proper maintenance.
• Interprets engineering drawings and defines inspection methods for automated testing.
• Collaborates with engineers to resolve drawing issues and provides feedback to R&D, QA, Production and Suppliers.
• Acts as SME for automated testing and contributes to continuous improvement in the incoming quality process.
