Job summary

Aptyx seeks a Quality Inspector I – Incoming Inspection to inspect incoming raw materials, components, packaging, and products. You will verify conformance to orders, drawings, and customer requirements, and document results in the Quality System.

You will identify defects, maintain records, and support timely material release for manufacturing while following procedures and training requirements. The role requires attention to detail and effective communication within a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, vocational training or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of inspection experience preferred.
• Medical device inspection experience preferred (nice to have).
• Computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Quality System and SOPs; inspect incoming materials and verify conformance.
• Inspect and approve release of product, packaging, and labels; ensure accuracy and legibility.
• Perform first article inspections and complete reports and documentation.
• Maintain identification and traceability of materials and documentation.
• Identify defects and nonconformances and communicate findings to the team.
• Prepare inspection workstations and maintain clean, organized records.
