Job summary

Kdc/one Columbus in New Albany, OH is seeking an Incoming Quality Inspector to ensure all components and labels entering the facility meet strict quality standards. This role supports production uptime and customer satisfaction.

You will use certified tools, perform AQL inspections, record results in the database, and collaborate with suppliers on quality concerns. Strong attention to detail and at least 2 years in quality inspection are required; SAP familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; college coursework preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in quality inspection or a technical field.
• Strong math skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with SAP and inspection tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform form, fit, and function testing on new components.
• Maintain and create inspection standards for components and labels.

• Place non-conforming items on hold and assist in troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with FDA GMPs and company quality systems.

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll be ensuring that every component and label entering our facility meets strict quality standards. Your work helps keep our production smooth, our customers happy, and our reputation strong.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspect incoming components using certified tools and ANSI/ASQC standards.
• Receive and inspect labels in SAP using scanning software and customer specs.
• Record and scan inspection results into the appropriate database.
• Perform form, fit, and function testing on new components.
• Manage SAP transactions to contain or release components and labels.
• Maintain and create inspection standards for components and labels.
• Communicate quality alerts and issues to management and team members.
• Place non-conforming items on hold and assist in troubleshooting.
• Conduct AQL inspections when needed.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers on quality concerns.
• Ensure compliance with FDA GMPs and company quality systems.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and ready for inspection.
• Follow and promote kdc/one’s safety and environmental policies.
• Complete all required documentation and maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
• Support overtime and additional duties as needed.

What We Need from You:
