Job summary

Kdc/one at our Columbus, Ohio facility is hiring a Material Operator on the 3rd shift to support production lines and ensure materials are staged and ready for use. This role involves loading and organizing supplies, documenting movements, and maintaining quality records.

You will use SAP to record transactions, move components with electric pallet jacks, scan finished products, and perform quality audits in a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, wear PPE, and work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Support the production line by ensuring materials are staged, replenished, and ready when needed with materials like bottles, caps, and pumps.
• Double-check component numbers and ensure the right paperwork and SAP stickers are in place.
• Use electric pallet jacks to move components and finished goods, prepping pallets for warehouse transfer.
• Scan finished products into SAP and maintain accurate records while acting as a gatekeeper for quality.
• Return unused components and help clear the line for the next run.
• Perform quality audits, checking label placement, batch codes, and overall product standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace that meets FDA and company quality standards.
• Promote and follow safety protocols throughout the facility.
• Step in as a backup Equipment Operator and help train new team members.
• Complete SOPs, Work Instructions, and other documentation with accuracy and care.
• Handle sensitive product and customer information with discretion.
• Show up consistently, pitch in when overtime is needed, and take on other tasks as assigned.

3rd Shift Monday - Friday 10:30pm-7:00am

Pay: $17.50/hr

What We Need from You:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, wear PPE, and work well with others.
• Comfortable operating electric pallet jacks.

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Be able to work in a climate-controlled, moderately loud production area.
• Stand, walk, reach, push, pull, and move throughout the shift.
• Navigate around motorized equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
