Job summary

KDC-ONE Columbus in New Albany, OH is seeking a Material Operator for the 3rd shift to keep the production line flowing with timely materials. You’ll verify components, move supplies with pallet jacks, scan into SAP, and help guard quality and safety standards.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and at least one year in manufacturing. This role offers steady hours on 3rd shift and opportunities to grow within a fast-paced beauty manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
  • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Comfortable wearing PPE and working with others.
  • Able to operate electric pallet jacks and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in climate-controlled, moderately loud production area.
  • Stand, walk, reach, push, pull, and move throughout shift.

Responsibilities

  • Support the production line by ensuring materials are staged, replenished, and ready when needed with materials like bottles, caps, and pumps.
  • Double-check component numbers and ensure the right paperwork and SAP stickers are in place.
  • Use electric pallet jacks to move components and finished goods, prepping pallets for warehouse transfer.
  • Scan finished products into SAP and maintain accurate records while acting as a gatekeeper for quality.
  • Return unused components and help clear the line for the next run.
  • Perform quality audits, checking label placement, batch codes, and overall product standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace that meets FDA and company quality standards.
  • Promote and follow safety protocols throughout the facility.
  • Step in as a backup Equipment Operator and help train new team members.
  • Complete SOPs, Work Instructions, and other documentation with accuracy and care.
  • Handle sensitive product and customer information with discretion.
  • Show up consistently, pitch in when overtime is needed, and take on other tasks as assigned.

General Information:

3rd Shift Monday - Friday 10:30pm-7:00am

Pay: $17.50/hr

What We Need from You:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

  • Comfortable operating electric pallet jacks.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Be able to work in a climate-controlled, moderately loud production area.
  • Stand, walk, reach, push, pull, and move throughout the shift.
  • Navigate around motorized equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
