Black Hills Special Services Cooperative is seeking an Employment Specialist Coordinator to guide individuals with disabilities toward meaningful, competitive employment. You will collaborate with teams, employers, and partners to provide resume help, interview prep, job coaching, and assessments tailored to client strengths and goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
• At least 1 year experience working with individuals with a disability in a job placement capacity.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and analyze information to appraise career interests and abilities for employment planning.
• Research labor market information to assist customers in informed choices and decisions.
• Inform individuals about duties, compensation, schedules, and conditions of employment.
• Assist individuals in preparing an employment plan.
• Review applications and interview individuals to assist in the process.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with employers and community organizations.
• Submit activity and client reports; deliver quarterly reports as required.
• Travel to provide services; mileage reimbursement or company vehicle provided.
• Other duties as assigned
