Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience teaching Theater, Drama or other related experience.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a teamplayer with students and Project Forward staff.
• Proficiency in oral and written communication.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including typing, storing/retrieving computer files, completing an online timesheet, tutorials, etc.
• Valid Massachusetts Driver's License for field trip purposes.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Focus on teaching self-expression, communication, and social skills through drama.
• Create personalized activities to accommodate diverse abilities.
• Facilitate a small final performance to showcase individual and group achievements.
• Consult and co-plan with colleagues when needed.
• Attend Project Forward staff meetings as scheduled.
