This role emphasizes proactive communication, ownership, and the ability to travel up to 25% for off-site recruitment events, with a structured schedule and mission-driven work that helps create employment opportunities for individuals

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of recruiting or HR experience in a compliance-driven, regulated, or social services environment.
• Experience in managing detailed documentation and following processes with precision.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build rapport across all levels.
• Comfortable making independent decisions and managing competing priorities without constant direction.

Responsibilities

• Own the full recruiting cycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and submitting qualified candidates for open positions.
• Prioritize candidates who meet AbilityOne disability eligibility requirements and ensure accurate documentation of qualifications.
• Maintain consistent and professional communication with candidates throughout the process, providing clarity and follow-through at every stage.
• Conduct structured interviews using established guides and person-centered assessment tools.
• Schedule and attend job/career fairs and recruiting events; travel to off-site events is required as part of these duties (25%).
