Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution.
• Valid Illinois teaching license with LBS1 endorsement.
• Completion of the CPS online application and teaching profile.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of content, pedagogy, and student knowledge to design coherent instruction and assessments.
• Create a respectful classroom culture with strong management of student behaviors and procedures.
• Respond to the needs of all students with engaging instruction and appropriately challenging questions.
• Exhibit excellent oral and written communication and professional judgment in interactions.
• Prioritize student safety and equity in everyday practice.
