Job summary

Bradford Academy in Michigan is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide an inclusive, nurturing learning environment. You will develop and implement IEPs, differentiate instruction, and collaborate with families to support each student’s growth.

You will work within the school’s Inclusion model, maintain student records, and participate in professional development to continually improve instructional practices.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with endorsements in appropriate grade and subject levels, or willingness to pursue an alternative pathway including MTTC.

Responsibilities

• Implements IEPs in the least restrictive environment.
• Prepares for annual IEPs and three-year re-evaluations.
• Differentiates instruction to meet diverse needs.
• Maintains accurate special education records in accordance with laws and policy.
• Collaborates with parents and other staff to support student progress.
• Supports Inclusion model and uses effective classroom management.
