Qualifications

• Master’s Degree preferred
• Massachusetts Licensure as a Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (PreK-8)
• Licensure in Reading preferred
• Exceptions to above qualifications may be made as the Superintendent deems appropriate and acceptable

Responsibilities

• Addresses the needs of diverse learners in accordance with Federal and State laws and regulations.
• Administers assessments, interprets evaluations, and writes reports.
• Collaborates with TEAM members to develop IEPs based on TEAM recommendations.
• Collaborates with the TEAM to implement specially designed instruction.
• Collaborates with the TEAM to determine accommodations for tests.
• Maintains accurate, complete and confidential student records.
