Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Addresses the needs of diverse learners in accordance with Federal and State laws and regulations.
• Administers assessments, interprets evaluations, and writes reports.
• Participates in multidisciplinary meetings to review evaluation results and develops IEPs.
• Collaborates with TEAM to implement specially designed instruction and accommodations.
• Completes required paperwork for the special education process.
• Maintains confidential student records.
• Engages in social-emotional learning and Universal Design initiatives.
• Serves as a resource to develop effective teaching strategies for all students.
• Conducts annual reviews, progress notes, conferences, and state assessment proctoring.
• Stays current with MA frameworks and licensure requirements.

Education

Master's degree preferred

Massachusetts Licensure as a Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (PreK-8)
