Job summary

The Glacial Community YMCA in Oconomowoc, WI seeks a Special Programs Coordinator to support inclusive programming for individuals of all abilities. The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with occasional evenings and weekends; experience in special education, recreation, or human services is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Education or experience in recreational therapy, special education, or equivalent preferred.
• CPR, AED, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Hazard Communication certifications must be obtained within 90 days.
• Willingness to attend meetings and obtain additional certification as requested.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality adaptable programs that promote inclusion of all abilities.
• Support and lead inclusive programming and member services to strengthen community ties.

Education
