Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited seeks an Inclusive Learning Mentor to support students with SEND, learning difficulties and additional support needs to reach their full potential. You will work with curriculum teams, Learning Support Assistants and external professionals to develop literacy, numeracy, communication, independence and employability skills in an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEND or similar needs in education.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to motivate and support diverse learners.
• Knowledge of inclusive practice and person-centred approaches.
• Patient, flexible, and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support across curriculum areas.
• Support learners to develop literacy, numeracy, communication, and study skills.
• Assist learners in achieving EHCP outcomes and learning goals.
• Build positive relationships to foster confidence and independence.
• Support learners with social, emotional and behavioural needs as required.
• Assist access to classroom activities, enrichment, work placements and community learning.
• Provide personal care following care plans and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with staff, therapists, parents/carers and external agencies.
• Monitor progress and maintain records.
• Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, inclusion and wellbeing.
