Job summary

JEVS Human Services is seeking a Career Navigator for the Philadelphia Independence Network (PIN) in Collingswood, NJ. The role focuses on helping youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities make informed choices and transition into integrated, competitive employment.

You will coordinate discovery, help identify internships and jobs, recruit participants, engage with employers, and provide coaching and problem-solving support to ensure smooth transitions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate entire arc of Discovery process for assigned participants
• Work with participants to identify internship and employment opportunities; provide support as needed: On-board participants into internships; Train participants on technical aspects of expectations; Train employers regarding support needs of individuals; provide ongoing technical assistance to employers
• Participate in recruiting participants
• Engage with employers; educate employers and staff; facilitate resolution of participant’s challenges
• Provide coaching, counseling and feedback when necessary; assists in identifying creative solutions to encourage smooth transitions
• Other duties as assigned
