Responsibilities

Prepare robust daily instruction and weekly lesson plans for Morris School District programs and policies.
Collaborate with a professional learning community (PLC) to improve teaching and learning for all students.
Integrate technology and interactive elements into classroom instruction.
Utilize district data sources to analyze student progress and provide targeted, differentiated instruction.
Build honest relationships with parents to update them on student progress and learning needs.
Prepare personalized academic assignments, homework and projects according to district policy and curriculum guidance.
Grade assignments, provide feedback, and set learning goals aligned with standards.
Monitor, evaluate and report student progress including academic growth and behavior.
Maintain and update student records as needed.
Set personal and professional goals aligned with district vision and evaluation tools.
Attend professional development sessions organized by principal/supervisor and district.
Follow contract and HR protocols; meet requests for additional responsibilities.
Contract Terms: 184 days/year.
