Job summary

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Special Education/IEPs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support students in developing academic skills, social-emotional regulation, and motor abilities.
• Assist students in achieving academic and social-emotional goals as outlined in IEPs.
• Implement IEP accommodations, modifications, and behavior support plans.
• Provide individualized or small group instruction under staff direction.
• Proctor assessments (e.g., MCAS) and assist with state portfolios.
• Supervise students in classroom, transitions, field trips, and throughout the day.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility as needed.
• Maintain classroom routines and prepare/cleanup instructional materials.
