Responsibilities

Develop IEPs through the ARD committee for assigned scholars.
Implement an instructional, therapeutic, or skill development program and document preparation.
Plan and use instructional strategies and materials reflecting learners’ styles and needs.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify regular curricula and assist scholars in regular classes.
Participate in ARD Committee meetings on a regular basis.
Assess scholar learning styles and plan instructional activities.
Present subject matter following IEP guidelines.
Employ various instructional techniques and media to meet needs of each scholar.
Supervise assignments for teacher aides and volunteers.
Use technology in teaching and learning.
