Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum five years as a special or general education teacher.
• At least two years as a special education administrator or team chair.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs to ensure alignment with students' strengths and goals.
• Provide instructional and administrative leadership to implement high-quality special education services district-wide.
• Facilitate IEP Team meetings and serve as district representative for procedural safeguards, evaluations, and compliance.
• Provide ongoing coaching, professional development, and technical assistance to staff and service providers.
