Ann Arbor Public Schools is seeking an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for Westermann Preschool. This full-time on-site role requires evaluating young students and coordinating services to support learners ages 2.5–5 with disabilities.

The candidate will collaborate with general and special education teams, implement appropriate programs, and push into inclusive settings to ensure meaningful access and progress for students with IEPs.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and a valid MichiganEarly Childhood certification (ZA/ZS).
• Experience with infants to preschoolers and with children with special needs is required.
• Familiarity with assessment, evaluation, and implementing IEPs is essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate preschool students to determine eligibility for special education and update present levels.
• Recommend and implement appropriate programs for ages 2.5–5 with disabilities.
• Coordinate teacher caseload and collaborate with general and special education teams.
• Push into inclusive preschool settings to support students with IEPs.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance on site.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
