Job summary

Camp For All in Texas seeks a Program Instructor for the Spring 2027 season. You will participate in orientation, obtain certifications, and deliver inclusive camp activities for campers with special needs.

The role starts Feb 3, 2027, to May 7, 2027, with housing provided and meals included when groups are on site. Responsibilities include leading activities, safety compliance, teamwork with staff, and adapting activities to camper needs.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience or volunteer roles.
• Desire to work with campers with special needs.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Participates in staff orientation and training for Camp For All programs.
• Obtains optional program certifications including life guarding and challenge course.
• Obtains required First Aid & CPR training.
• Manages an assigned program activity, planning for camper needs.
• Works with Program Supervisors to maintain activity areas.
• Learns and adapts to individual camper needs.
• Follows safety standards set by Camp For All, DOH Texas and ACA.
• Reports safety infractions to supervisor.
• Collaborates with program staff and Camp For All team members.
• Manages free time to be prepared for each User Group.
• Follows instructions and safety rules.
• Maintains a flexible schedule with extended hours as needed.
