Job summary

Tulsa Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Assistive Technology Specialist to provide and implement assistive technology services for students with disabilities, focusing on inclusive technology that benefits all learners. You will train staff, support development, and promote best practices to ensure access and compliance with mandates.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data-driven program monitoring, and centralized services to improve outcomes across grade levels and within LRE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
• Valid Oklahoma special education teaching certificate or related service certification (Speech, OT, PT, BCBA, or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Assistive technology needs evaluation and IEP team support.
• Training and professional development on AT tools and practices.
• Coordination of AT services across grade levels.
• AT program monitoring through data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Compliance support for federal and state special education regulations related to assistive technology.
• Support for AT inventory, budget, and equipment maintenance.
