Job summary

Tulsa Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Assistive Technology Specialist to provide and coordinate assistive technology services for students with disabilities, focusing on inclusive tech and accessibility. You will train staff, support IEP teams, and promote best practices to enhance learning opportunities.

The role requires collaboration across grade levels, data-informed decision making, and adherence to federal/state regulations, with alignment to district priorities and LRE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years in special education or related services.
• Experience in data analysis and program evaluation.
• Oklahoma special education certification or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state special education regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AT needs and support IEP team decisions.
• Provide training and professional development on AT tools and practices.
• Coordinate AT services across grade levels.
• Monitor AT program data and reporting for compliance.
• Assist with AT inventory, budget, and equipment maintenance.
