Job summary

Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) is seeking an Inclusion Specialist to deliver inclusive, engaging activities and supports for K-12 youth. You will promote SEL, dignity, and belonging through individualized and small-group services within after-school programs.

Work closely with families, teachers, and staff to implement accommodations, restorative practices, and trauma-informed strategies. This role offers part-time hours with a flexible schedule and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with youth in educational or afterschool settings.
• Ability to build relationships with youth and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships and foster belonging for all students.
• Support students’ social-emotional learning through restorative approaches.
• Provide individualized and small-group inclusion support promoting dignity and independence.
• Collaborate with families, staff, and school-day personnel to align supports.
