We Build with Passion - Clean Harbors Kimball, NE. Incineration units are seeking an Incineration Technician - Fluidized Bed division. Responsible for performing industrial labor and other physically demanding work outdoors under potentially adverse conditions, as well as within the facility/plant work environment. Entry‑level, full‑time position. Wage $26.50 an hour, paid weekly, with career growth and advancement opportunities. Safety‑oriented and reliable individuals. Shift work rotating 4‑12 hour shifts Days/Nights. Mechanical aptitude required. Ability to work in adverse environments (extreme cold/heat, wind).

Responsibilities
  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
  • Performs basic operations including, but not limited to, drum movement, drum opening, tank farm truck loading/unloading in compliance with DOT segregation requirements, filter press operations, and proper inventory warehousing
  • Operates a forklift when necessary; responsible for performing and documenting a daily safety check prior to operating
  • Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements; able to use a scanning application for dumping and pumping
  • Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures
  • Reviews all applicable SOPs and satisfactorily completes quizzes
  • Ensures, understands and has ownership of area‑specific permit required compliance standards
  • Meets or exceeds production goals
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment
  • Understands Clean Compliance Standard
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • DOT Training
  • Proficiency in Windows‑based applications
  • Climb on and off forklifts
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to your waste
  • Climb up and down vertical ladders
  • Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force
  • 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected – depth perception is critical
  • 10 push‑ups, deep knee squats and sit‑ups (to determine if fit)
  • Good hand/eye coordination
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Punctuality and attendance required
  • Respirator fit test upon hire – clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)
  • Background check, drug screen and physical – required
