Incineration Technician - Fluidized Bed (Kimball, NE)

Clean Harbors Kimball, NE is seeking an entry‑level Incineration Technician to perform industrial labor outdoors and within our facility. This full‑time, shift‑work position offers a wage of $26.50 per hour, paid weekly, and provides career‑growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities include shift work with rotating 4‑12 hour shifts (days/night), mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in adverse environments (extreme cold/heat, wind).

Responsibilities
  • Ensure health and safety is the number one goal by following policies and acting safely.
  • Perform basic operations including drum movement, drum opening, tank farm truck loading/unloading in compliance with DOT segregation, filter press operations, and inventory warehousing.
  • Operate a forklift when necessary, completing and documenting daily safety checks.
  • Complete and submit required paperwork for waste tracking; use scanning application for dumping and pumping.
  • Ensure work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Review applicable SOPs and pass quizzes.
  • Maintain area‑specific permit compliance.
  • Meet or exceed production goals.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Understand Clean Compliance Standard.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift operation experience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • DOT training.
  • Proficiency in Windows‑based applications.
  • Climb on and off forklifts.
  • Perform multiple tasks.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs from ground to waste.
  • Climb up and down vertical ladders.
  • Reach over and down exerting force.
  • 20/20 eyesight (corrected or uncorrected); depth perception critical.
  • 10 push‑ups, deep knee squats, and sit‑ups to assess fitness.
  • Good hand/eye coordination.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Punctuality and attendance required.
  • Respirator fit test upon hire; clean shaven face required (mustache acceptable).
  • Background check, drug screen, and physical examination required.
  • Updated resume required.
