Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking an Incineration Operator in Utah to direct hazardous waste into the incinerator and oversee feed processes, with safety as the top priority.

A HS diploma and plant experience are preferred; you will operate conveyors, load materials, and respond to jams while maintaining PPE compliance. Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Plant experience is a plus
  • Hazardous training preferred
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights/weekends
  • First Responder readiness in emergencies
  • Work in all weather conditions (heat/cold)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure health & safety is the #1 priority
  • Record production data: weights, types, quantities, locations
  • Load/unload/adjust materials on conveyors manually or with equipment
  • Stop equipment and clear jams; remove damaged materials
  • Perform other duties as assigned; be a team player
  • PPE, respirator use, and grooming standards

Our Incineration Operator will direct hazardous waste into the incinerator to be destroyed by through various feed processes. We are looking for a safety minded individual who is a team player.

We offer a shuttle service free to our employees from various locations.

Pay: $28.51 hourly

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure health & safety is always #1 priority
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Record production data such as weights, types, quantities, and storage locations of materials, as well as equipment performance problems and downtime
  • Load, unload, or adjust materials or products on conveyors by hand, by using lifts, hoists, and scoops, or by opening gates, chutes, and hoppers
  • Stop equipment or machinery and clear jams, using poles, bars, and hand tools, or remove damaged materials from conveyors
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Team player
  • PPE, respirator, Clean shaven (mustache)
QUALIFICATIONS
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Plant experience is a plus!
  • Hazardous training a preferred
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule that may include nights and weekends
  • Ability to serve as a First Responder in the event of an emergency
  • Working in all weather conditions. (heat and cold)
