OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY INCIDENT RESPONSE TECHNICIAN

At On-Site Health & Safety, our Health & Safety Incident Response Technicians or Field Technicians can explore various skill sets not otherwise available under traditional roles such as EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, or LVN. Our technicians work in a mobile setting, responding in a company-provided vehicle to diverse worksites including construction zones, warehouses, refineries, and restaurants. Employees can enjoy the flexibility of clocking in and out from home, eliminating commutes. We support career exploration across disciplines, increasing experience and opportunities.

Our mission is: “We keep America working by being On-Site.” Our core services include ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, incident reporting, first aid, pulmonary function testing, drug screening, hearing tests, and blood draws (when certified).

Position Benefits/Privileges:
  • Take home company vehicle
  • Full-time employment
  • 4-day, 10-hour workweek
  • $21-$28/hour
  • On-call rotation, including some overnight and weekend shifts
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education or experience in EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, or equivalent
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Additional training (provided in-house) in areas such as Emergency Medical Responder, X-Ray Technician, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, or Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Minimum age: 18
  • Insurable by our motor vehicle insurance policy with a 3-5 year driving history or documented defensive driving training
  • No severe driving violations (e.g., DUIs, aggressive driving)
  • Pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening
Additional Notes:
  • Clear articulation of instructions
  • Comfort with public speaking
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs for extended periods
  • Willingness to operate a vehicle for long durations, up to 90% of shifts in some cases
Work Location:

The company hires in specific geographical areas to meet service demands, allowing employees to live within a service area and respond promptly to calls.

Note: Extensive background checks, including motor vehicle records, are conducted. Employment is contingent upon passing these checks and drug screening. Employees may be classified as safety-sensitive, subject to post-accident and random testing. Immunization against hepatitis B is recommended due to potential exposure risks.
