OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY INCIDENT RESPONSE TECHNICIAN

At On-Site Health & Safety, our Health & Safety Incident Response Technicians or Field Technicians can explore various skill sets not otherwise available under traditional roles such as EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, or LVN. Our technicians work in a mobile setting, responding in company-provided vehicles to various worksites including construction zones, warehouses, refineries, restaurants, and more. They enjoy the flexibility of clocking in and out from home, eliminating commutes. Our company offers opportunities to explore different disciplines and grow professionally.

Founded in 1996 in California, On-Site Health & Safety now operates in over 20 states. Our mission is "We keep America working by being On-Site." We provide services like incident response, first aid, pulmonary function testing, drug screening, hearing tests, and blood draws (when certified/licensed).

Position Benefits/Privileges:
  • Take home company vehicle
  • Part-time schedule
  • Alternative work week: 3 days/10-hour shifts
  • $21-$28/hour
  • On-call rotation including some overnight and weekend shifts
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education or experience in EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, or equivalent
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Additional training (in-house provided) in areas like Emergency Medical Responder, X-Ray Technician, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, or Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Insurable by our motor vehicle insurance (3-5 year driving history or documented defensive driving training)
  • No severe driving violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.)
  • Pass criminal background check
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening and comply with drug testing policies
Additional Notes:
  • Ability to articulate instructions clearly
  • Comfortable with public speaking
  • Able to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs for extended periods
  • Willing to operate a motor vehicle for long periods, up to 90% of shift in some cases
Work Location:

Technicians are hired in key geographical areas to meet service demand, with opportunities to work in surrounding areas. Employees can choose locations that suit them and respond promptly to service requests.

Note: All hires undergo extensive background checks, including motor vehicle records, and must meet minimum requirements. Employment is contingent upon passing background checks and drug screens. Employees may have access to federally funded or owned sites and are subject to drug testing, including post-accident and random testing. Immunization against hepatitis B is recommended due to exposure risks.
