ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company is seeking an Incident Response Coordinator to lead end‑to‑end IT incident response. You will coordinate across infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and vendors to restore operations quickly while maintaining audit‑ready documentation.

The role requires strong ITIL knowledge, experience coordinating multi‑party incidents, and active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in information technology, computer science, business administration, or related field.
• 4–7 years of incident management/incident response or related IT operations experience with multi‑party coordination.
• Strong understanding of ITIL-aligned incident management and lifecycle practices with prioritization/escalation.
• Proficiency with IT service management platforms and monitoring solutions; ability to handle multiple incidents in a high‑pressure SOC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to tailor content for technical staff and leadership.
• Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain and maintain security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Operational Coordination: organize end‑to‑end incident response across lifecycle and multiple concurrent incidents; set priorities and track restoration progress.
• Runbook & ITSM Execution: ensure accurate categorization, CI linkage, documentation, and knowledge updates; maintain audit‑ready records.
• Telemetry‑Informed Engagement: use monitoring/ITSM data to route incidents and engage dependencies across teams.
• Communications & Handoffs: provide leadership updates, stakeholder briefings, and status pages; manage shift handoffs.
• PIR Support & Improvement: help lead post‑incident reviews; update runbooks/workflows based on lessons learned.
• Escalation Discipline: escalate deteriorating incidents per SLA guidelines.
• Evidence Management: collect and preserve decision points, timelines, and impact for audits.
• Single point of contact: coordinate across infrastructure, apps, cybersecurity, and vendors for timely resolution.
• ITSM platforms/monitoring: track incidents, verify remediation, and maintain audit records.
• Post‑incident reviews: identify systemic issues and translate findings into updated processes.
