ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks an Incident Response Coordinator to lead end-to-end IT incidents in a highly regulated federal setting. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and leadership, with audit-ready documentation to restore services quickly and minimize impact.

You will drive runbooks, PIRs, and improvements, enforce SLAs, and maintain escalation discipline while communicating clearly to senior stakeholders and ensuring compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of incident management, incident response, or related IT operations roles coordinating multi-party incident activities.
• Strong understanding of ITIL-aligned incident management and structured incident response practices.
• Proficiency with IT service management platforms and monitoring solutions; ability to manage multiple incidents in a high-pressure SOC environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills for technical staff and leadership.
• Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain and maintain clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsabilités

• Organize response efforts across the full end-to-end lifecycle of incidents, high-impact events, and multiple concurrent incidents; set priorities; assign actions; track progress through restoration; maintain status calls.
• Ensure accurate categorization, CI linkage, documentation, and knowledge updates; maintain audit-ready records and timelines; capture key decisions, timelines, and impacts.
• Use monitoring/ITSM data to route incidents; engage infrastructure, application, cybersecurity, and vendor dependencies.
• Provide structured internal messaging (leadership updates, stakeholder briefings, status pages); manage shift handoffs and continuity of incident coordination.
• Help lead post-incident reviews; identify recurring patterns; update runbooks/workflows and ITSM configurations.
• Elevate deteriorating/incidents per SLA/escalation guidelines.
• Collect/store key decisions, impact summaries, timelines for compliance/audits.
• Facilitate collaboration among IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and vendors to drive timely resolution.
• Track incidents in ITSM platforms; verify remediation steps; maintain audit-ready records for reviews.
• Participate in post-incident reviews to translate lessons learned into runbook updates and process improvements.
