ASM Research, an Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking an Incident Response Coordinator to lead end-to-end IT incident coordination in a highly regulated federal environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of incident management, incident response, or related IT operations roles.
• Strong understanding of ITIL-aligned incident management and lifecycle management.
• Proficiency with IT service management platforms and monitoring solutions.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with ability to tailor content for technical staff and leadership.
• Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain and maintain clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Organize response efforts across end-to-end lifecycle of incidents and high-impact events; set priorities and track progress.
• Ensure accurate categorization, CI linkage, documentation, and knowledge updates; maintain audit-ready records.
• Use monitoring/ITSM data to route incidents and engage dependencies.
• Provide structured internal communications; manage handoffs and continuity.
• Help lead post-incident reviews; update runbooks and workflows.
• Elevate deteriorating or unresolved incidents per SLA/escalation guidelines.
• Collect/store key decisions, impact summaries, timelines for audits.
• Facilitate collaboration across infrastructure, application, cybersecurity, and vendors.
• Track incidents in ITSM platforms and verify remediation steps for audits.
• Participate in PIRs and translate lessons into updates to ITSM configurations.
