Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, CS, or related field.
• 4-7 years of incident management, incident response, or related IT operations roles coordinating multi-party incident activities.
• Strong understanding of ITIL-aligned incident management and structured incident response practices.
• Proficiency with IT service management platforms and monitoring solutions; able to manage multiple incidents in a high-pressure OPS center.
• Excellent writing, verbal communication and analytical skills; able to tailor content for technical staff and leadership.
• Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain and maintain required background investigation; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Organize end-to-end incident response across the full lifecycle; set priorities and track restoration progress.
• Maintain audit-ready records, timelines, and key decisions; ensure CI linkage and documentation.
• Use monitoring/ITSM data to route incidents and engage dependencies across teams.
• Provide structured internal communications, leadership updates, and stakeholder briefings.
• Help lead post-incident reviews and translate lessons into updated runbooks and ITSM configurations.
• Escalate deteriorating or unresolved incidents per SLA guidelines.
