Responsibilities

  • Create a written record to summarize incidents on both an individual and monthly basis
  • Investigate and manage investigations related to incidents
  • Communicate with providers, members, and facilities as needed
  • Responsible for managing the Company’s incident investigation, reporting, and resolution process as it relates to the NEMT provider network
  • Review all accident/incident reports for accuracy
  • Mandate and enforce proper incident guidelines for all operations.
  • Assist all state managers in reviewing and submitting incident documents
  • Maintains and manages Intelex, the Company’s accident and incident software
  • Create reports and analyze incidents monthly, noting any patterns or trends
  • Identify and administer any appropriate resolutions, including corrective action
  • Work with the Compliance Manager’s to schedule driver remedial training as needed
  • Maintain communications with MCOs/ clients for incident reporting
  • Maintain reports and keep management informed of relevant issues
  • Review and distribute inquiries to review for state managers
  • Regular and predictable attendance Monday – Friday (8-5/ 9-6)
  • Assist SETI legal counsel in document retrieval as needed
  • Accountable for the preparation and submission of reports to comply with internal and contractual requirements
  • Maintain electronic records of incidents
  • Maintain and update the Company Incident tracking spreadsheet
  • Submit appropriate data to Southeastrans’ database in a timely manner
  • Communicates information to key staff and departments
  • Maintain the tracking of follow-up actions required on incident reporting for the company
  • Submits weekly reminders of insurance expirations to approved distribution lists
  • Follows all Southeastrans policies and procedures
  • Report and communicate with management to resolve issues
  • All other duties as assigned

POSITION CONTINGENT UPON AWARD OF CONTRACT
Summary

The Corporate Incident Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing, investigating, initializing responses, and documenting all incidents that occur in connection with Southeastrans Inc.’s(“SETI”) Non-Emergency Medical Transportation(“NEMT”) Contracts. This position will be directly responsible for the daily, monthly, and annual reporting of incidents for SETI contracts. The position will provide management with reports summarizing investigative findings and resolutions of individual incidents, aggregate individual incident reports monthly, and analyze incidents to identify the potential quality of service issues to identify patterns or trends. Duties also include oversight of the Company’s Incident software, incident reporting functions, and other compliance-related functions, as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University and/or commensurate experience in compliance
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
