Job summary

Surefox North America Inc is seeking an experienced Incident Commander to join our security team in South San Francisco, CA. The role supports a rapidly growing company at the forefront of security and logistics technology, requiring strong judgement, service mindset, and professional presence.

You will coordinate emergency responses, manage front-desk security, and maintain client relations while adhering to client policies and state/federal regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active California BSIS Guard Card.
• CPR certification.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a professional security representative with a visible command presence.
• Act as Incident Commander during medical and non-medical emergencies, coordinating response and contacting emergency services.
• Provide lobby security and assist employees, visitors, vendors, contractors, and leadership.
• Manage visitor check-in, temporary badges, deliveries, lost-and-found, and front-of-house security tasks.
• Operate Verkada CCTV, access-control, alarm, and badging systems for monitoring and investigations.
• Conduct routine system checks and basic troubleshooting of Verkada cameras and devices, escalating issues.
• Perform security patrols and verify authorizations to prevent tailgating and theft.
• Prepare incident and shift reports and cooperate with client leadership.
