Job summary

Surefox North America Inc. seeks a Flex Security Agent for the San Francisco Bay Area. The role involves patrolling, monitoring access, and enforcing security measures across client sites, with a focus on excellent customer service and incident response.

You will collaborate with the Security Operations Center, respond to emergencies, and document security events with detailed reports. A background check and drug screening are required, with a valid BSIS guard card preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Must reside within driving distance or willing to relocate.
• Must hold a BSIS guard card or qualify for one.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR & First Aid certification or eligible.
• Demonstrated ability to react to emergencies.
• Strong communication with diverse individuals.
• Good judgment and timely decision-making.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods; stairs and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols, monitor access, deter unauthorized entry, enforce security measures.
• Collaborate with Security Operations Center for calls, report suspicious activity, and initial responses.
• Respond to emergencies promptly, contact first responders when needed, and secure scenes.
• Investigate incidents and document reports (incident and daily activity reports).
• Verify IDs of employees, vendors, or guests and control access with badges.
• Greeting visitors and performing light front desk duties to create a positive first impression.
• Assist employees and provide a welcoming environment for visitors and clients.
• Build rapport with workplace and facilities teams and clients to foster collaboration.
• De-escalate situations courteously and professionally.
• Work independently and adapt to varying paces while remaining focused.
