The role can be based out of any US office and requires at least 6 years advising domestic and international companies on expansion or relocation in the US. Strong analytical, writing and communication skills, and the ability to mentor junior associates are essential.

The position emphasizes high-volume, fast-paced work with an integrated team serving global clients and offers hybrid work options in a top AmLaw firm setting.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in the state where the office is located.
• At least 6 years of experience at a large or AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience counseling domestic and international companies on US expansion or relocation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case or transaction planning.
• Draft briefs, motions, contracts and correspondence with high accuracy.
• Assist/manage complex cases/transactions from inception to close; coordinate with teams.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide timely updates and guidance.
• Collaborate with lawyers and business professionals to develop innovative strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Attend and participate in high-level legal activities including hearings and negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and firm policies; pursue ongoing professional development.
