Job summary

Amgen seeks an Associate Director, Incentive Compensation Design & Analytics for the Cardiovascular BU to lead the incentive plan design, implementation, and evaluation. You’ll align compensation strategy with business goals and ensure fair, motivating rewards across onshore and offshore teams, with strong emphasis on analytics and process optimization.

Preference for onsite work in Thousand Oaks 2–3 days weekly; remote arrangements may be considered.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 3 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing incentive compensation plans OR
• Master’s degree and 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing incentive compensation plans OR
• Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing incentive compensation plans OR
• Associate’s degree and 12 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing incentive compensation plans OR
• High school diploma / GED and 14 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing incentive compensation plans

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and evaluation of incentive plans for the BU
• Align sales compensation strategy with business goals and programs across teams
• Coordinate IC administration and operations with Amgen's India delivery office
• Monitor effectiveness using data, models, and field feedback; adjust as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve IC design, analytics, and processes
