Job summary

Nisqually Red Wind Casino is seeking an Incentive Committee Coordinator to support the Service & Training team and manage rewards programs. You will track guest and team member feedback, monitor service goals, and collaborate with department leaders to ensure consistent delivery of recognition initiatives.

The role involves coordinating events, preparing communications, and maintaining records. Strong communication and organization are essential, with the ability to handle multiple priorities

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two years of guest service experience.
  • Two years in an office role working with automated computer systems.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in a committee setting or cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational or project management skills.
  • Experience with employee engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong typing skills.
  • Ability to make public presentations.
  • Ability to learn and/or test new computer programs and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews all Team Member & Guest comment cards and surveys; reports to leadership monthly.
  • Responds to Team Members and vendors via multiple channels with professionalism.
  • Prepares and publishes monthly casino newsletter, The Highroller.
  • Assists with implementation of incentive and recognition programs.
  • Organizes training events including scheduling, venue, and catering.
  • Serves as host to guests and team members with strong people skills.
  • Provides operational support to Service & Training team and Incentive Committee.
  • Develops PowerPoint presentations and publication materials.
  • Maintains and updates records; distributes monthly team member awards.
  • Coordinates recognition programs and engagement events.
  • Maintains inventory for Team Member store and recognition items.
  • Creates content for digital signage and announcements.
  • Researches trends in recognition and engagement; participates in committee meetings.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Incentive Committee Coordinator will provide overall operational support for the Service & Training team to support the company service culture. This position is responsible for coordinating and managing the company’s rewards and recognition programs, including milestone anniversaries, perfect attendance, and Team Member of the month awards. Handle the day-to-day administration, tracking, and reporting of incentive and recognition initiatives to include the collection and tracking of guest comments, internal and external guest and team member survey data. Work with management to identify service trends and track progress against service goals. Collaborate with leaders across departments to ensure recognition programs are delivered consistently and in alignment with service objective.

JOB SUMMARY

Perform administrative and office support activities for multiple programs under the direction of the Service & Training team. Prepare documents, correspondence, purchase orders, and presentations. Supports all Incentive Committee recognition and incentive initiatives and assists in preparing materials for all training sessions. Uses extensive software skills, research abilities and strong communication skills to accomplish tasks.

Required skills and knowledge
  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
  • Two years of guest service experience.
  • Two years in an office role working with automated computer systems in a highly computerized environment. Post-secondary education can be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working in a committee setting or cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational or project management skills.
  • Experience with employee engagement.
  • Communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong typing skills.
  • Ability to make public presentations.
  • Ability to learn and/or test new computer programs and systems.

Preferred skills and knowledge
  • AA degree in Office/Business Management or Human Resources.
  • Prior experience in a Human Resource office or experience working with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) reporting.
  • Service First Certified.
  • HRIS system and database experience.
  • Casino experience.
  • Knowledge of recognition and incentive programs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to lift boxes weighing at least 30 pounds.
  • Ability to sit, stand and move around for long periods of time.
  • Ability to walk/move freely throughout the entire casino on a daily basis to and interact with guests and team members in all areas of the casino to include the Butler Building.
  • Manual and finger dexterity for operation of personal computer and routine paperwork.
  • Ability to tolerate a noisy smoke-filled environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
  • Reviews all Team Member & Guest comment cards, internal and external surveys, and disseminates information to casino leadership on a monthly basis.
  • Responds to Team Members & vendors via telephone, in person, via email or written communication to address their concerns in a timely manner. Must be professional, courteous, and respectful at all times.
  • Prepares and publishes monthly casino newsletter, The Highroller, writing articles and coordinating with other team members for article submissions.
  • Assists with the implementation of casino team member incentive and recognition program initiatives.
  • Assist with the organization of training events to include scheduling, securing the venue/room, and catering arrangements as required.
  • Serve as a host to our internal and external guests using dynamic people skills.
  • Provide overall operational support to the Service & Training team and the Incentive Committee.
  • Assist in the development of PowerPoint presentations and other documents and/or publications.
  • Maintain and update records.
  • Generate and distribute monthly Team Member of the Month reports.
  • Coordinate and promote employee recognition programs.
  • Assists in planning and executing employee engagement events.
  • Maintain inventory and ordering for the Team Member store.
  • Maintain inventory and ordering of recognition and incentive items.
  • Develop creative content for digital signage, email announcements, and flyers.
  • Research and benchmark emerging trends in employee recognition and engagement.
  • Participate in Incentive Committee meetings and provide agendas.
  • Serve as a Service First culture ambassador.
  • Utilization of the internal recognition programs & systems to support tasks and projects.
  • Ensure all recognition practices align with the company core values, policies, and brand standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
