Job summary

Colony Tire Corporation / Atlantic Tire Distributors in Edenton, NC, is seeking a Warehouse Inbound Assistant Manager to oversee inbound operations at our wholesale tire distribution center. You will ensure the receipt, storage, and processing of tires, working closely with the Warehouse Inbound Manager.

The role requires ensuring accuracy, quality, and safety, while leading a team and coordinating with the Inventory Control team on cycle counts and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or distribution center, preferably in leadership.
• Strong inbound logistics knowledge: receiving, inventory, QA.
• Effective communication and team leadership skills.
• Familiarity with tire handling is desirable.
• Proficient in WMS and related software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound operations and ensure accurate receipt and storage of tires.
• Lead a warehouse team to meet daily inbound targets.
• Coordinate with Inventory Control for accuracy and cycle counts.
• Enforce safety and quality standards per OSHA guidelines.
• Identify opportunities to improve inbound processes.
• Maintain positive vendor relations with tire suppliers and carriers.
• Provide training and development for warehouse staff.
• Monitor KPIs and develop action plans for improvement.
• Assist with hiring, coaching, and performance management.
