Colony Tire Corporation / Atlantic Tire Distributors in Edenton, NC seeks a General Warehouse Worker to manually move freight, stock, and perform general labor as assigned by the manager. You will operate forklifts, review shipments, tag containers, and record quantities using scanners.

The role requires reading work orders, maintaining a clean, organized warehouse, and strict adherence to OSHA safety standards. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with forklift experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and related equipment to load and unload trucks and move material within the warehouse.
• Review shipments and inform management of shortages or damaged shipments.
• Attach tags to containers or mark with identifying information.
• Read work orders or receive instructions to determine tasks and material needs.
• Record units handled using daily production sheets or scanners.
• Sort cargo before loading and unloading and maintain neat warehouse areas.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
