Job summary

Feeding South Florida is seeking an Inbound Coordinator to oversee the receipt, processing, and handling of food donations and inventory. The role ensures efficient warehouse receiving operations, maintains food safety, and supports South Florida's hunger relief efforts.

The position requires 2+ years in warehouse operations, familiarity with WMS, and the ability to coordinate with transportation, donors, and procurement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management.
• Experience in food service, grocery, or food bank operations preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and update the receiving schedule and collaborate with transportation to obtain arrival times and quantity expected.
• Manage driver check-in and door assignment process and ensure proper documentation accompanies the load.
• Delegate incoming loads to appropriate receiving team members based on product type and priority.
• Monitor and manage inbound flow to optimize dock efficiency and prevent bottlenecks.
• Ensure all incoming donations are properly documented, weighed, and recorded in inventory management system.
• Work closely with warehouse management to optimize storage space and workflow.
