SupplyHouse is seeking a Receiving Supervisor for our NJ fulfillment center to oversee daily receiving operations, manage a team of associates, and ensure accurate inspection, processing, and recording of shipments.

The role reports to the Inbound Manager and emphasizes inventory accuracy, timely product availability, and collaboration with onsite leaders to support efficiency and customer satisfaction. Base salary starts around $72,440 and ranges higher with experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to push and pull up to 60 pounds; follow safety guidance for heavier items.
• Stand and walk 8–10 hours daily, up to 20,000 steps.
• Fundamental understanding of inventory, supply chain and logistics concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Strong problem solving, time management and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to work independently and multitask.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily receiving team functions and ensure items are checked in and stored correctly.
• Follow up on discrepancies with purchase orders.
• Record and verify quantity/quality of received products; keep receiving area safe and organized.
• Lead shift start-up meetings and relay staffing/volume concerns to the Inbound Manager.
• Assign work to receiving associates.
• Ensure POs meet deadlines and track performance with regular feedback.
• Monitor departmental KPI success and conduct monthly check-ins.
• Address personnel and performance incidents promptly; implement improvements.
