Job summary

Anthropologie, part of URBN, is seeking a detail-oriented Buying Operations Inbound Analyst to own end-to-end PO receipt tracking and reconciliation. The role monitors delivery risks, escalates issues to leadership, and partners with Marketing, Merchandising, and Buying to ensure campaigns run on time.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in operations or supply chain, strong Excel skills, and comfortable navigating fast-paced retail environments with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; operations background preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in operations or supply chain.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Familiar with AI tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey time-sensitive information across cross-functional teams.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple trackers and deadlines simultaneously.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with frequently shifting priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with global sourcing, production, or import/freight processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Risk & Exception Management – Manage the full inbound PO pipeline, maintaining visibility into risks across all open orders and documenting current events that may impact receipt timing.
• Partner with logistics and sourcing teams to understand root causes of delays at origin and translate visibility into updated receipt timing expectations for downstream teams.
• Escalate late deliveries to leadership with context on cause and impact to support quick decision-making.
• Monitor and drive resolution of POs outside SLA windows with DCs and carriers to close gaps between physical delivery and system receipt.
• Own end-to-end tracking of inbound receipts and reconcile differences across systems.
