Job summary

Anthropologie is seeking a Buying Operations Coordinator to support daily operational functions in the buying area, including entering and revising purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery through vendor follow-up, and acting as a liaison between vendors and buyers.

You will maintain SKUs in systems, manage backorders and customer inquiries, and collaborate with Buying, Planning, Allocation and Ecommerce teams to activate products and respond to trends.

Qualifications

• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple priorities.
• Experience with vendor follow-up and PO maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter and revise purchase orders for selling channels.
• Ensure timely delivery of merchandise through vendor follow-up and cross-functional coordination.
• Act as liaison between the vendor and the buyer for discounts, late deliveries, and RTVs.
• Develop vendor communication skills and assist with onboarding and compliance questions.
• Maintain SKUs in IP, MTS, and Sterling including pricing, loads, and attributes.
• Enter price changes and handle ticket requests as needed.
• Manage backorders and customer service inquiries.
• Collaborate with Buying, Planning, Allocation and Ecommerce teams to achieve goals.
• Partner with Merchandising and Web Producers to ensure timely activations and monitor inventory and trends.
