Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics in the USA Canal Winchester is hiring a Material Handler, Inbound on 1st shift. You will load and unload freight, manage inventory, rotate stock, and inspect shipments to keep dock operations running smoothly.

This intermediate role requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years of warehouse experience, and familiarity with OSHA rules, forklifts, and freight coding. Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be familiar with OSHA regulations and forklift operation.
• Ability to read freight coding and decipher manifests.
• Physical ability to push/pull and lift up to 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Unload inbound and outbound containers and sort according to size and destination.
• Read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite movement and tracing.
• Reconcile driver pick up and delivery manifests.
• Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight.
• Maintain safe, clean warehouse and inventory records.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
