WebstaurantStore is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure data accuracy between internal systems and physical counts. You will collaborate across departments to identify issues and present proactive solutions that support customer success.

The role requires independent work across teams, with emphasis on precision, efficiency, and adherence to safety and performance expectations. Opportunity to grow within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ of relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required.
• No degree required; relevant skills and experience valued within core company values.

Responsibilities

• Complete a minimum of 5 replenishments per hour.
• Have a clean as you go mentality, removing trash and empty skids from bins.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies with respective inventory team members.
• Maintain performance, safety, and cultural expectations.
• Report any damages to product seen in bins.
• Report any forklift incidents.
• Be respectful to lift traffic in warehouse and communicate direction.
• Operate the stand-up reach truck.
• Other duties as assigned by team lead outside area of responsibility.

Job description

Job Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist role ensures the accuracy of the data in our internal systems compared to the physical counts of inventory. This position collaborates across departments to identify issues and resolve trends, presenting proactive solutions that serve our customers. Inventory Control Specialists work independently and efficiently across departmental teams and are expected to fulfill their responsibilities with precision and care.

Responsibilities

• Complete a minimum of 5 replenishments per hour
• Have a clean as you go mentality, removing trash and empty skids from bins
• Communicate inventory discrepancies with respective inventory team members
• Maintain performance, safety, and cultural expectations
• Report any damages to product seen in bins
• Report any forklift incidents

• Operate the stand-up reach truck
• Other duties as assigned by team lead outside area of responsibility

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.

Experience

1 year+ of relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required
