Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a transportation and customs lead in Plainfield, IN to oversee operations and provide exceptional customer service for shipments. You will supervise staff, monitor performance, review documents for accuracy, and ensure compliance with federal and foreign regulations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with multi-year experience, supervisory background, and a preferred Bachelor's degree in international business, logistics, or supply chain management.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED, Minimum four years related experience.
• Minimum one year supervisory experience; Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent.
• Three years of industry experience preferred; ITAR, Import Brokerage and Export Compliance knowledge may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Supervise department staff, conduct meetings, and address performance issues per policies.
• Oversee performance statistics and review shipment documentation for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing shipments and documentation.
• Establish and revise policies for customs clearance and service standards.
• Communicate with the operations manager and maintain after-hours on-call rotation.
