Job summary

Carolina Fitness Equipment is expanding its Shipping & Receiving Department. The Receiving Coordinator oversees all inbound shipments, coordinates with carriers, and ensures accuracy of records in WMS and Netsuite.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a warehouse setting. Preferred 1–2 years in warehouse receiving or logistics, with GED or college coursework.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in warehouse receiving, inventory control, or logistics.
• GED or some college coursework preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the receipt of incoming goods, verify quantities and inspect for damage.
• Schedule and coordinate inbound shipments with carriers.
• Document and record received goods via WMS and Netsuite.
• Pick items received for customer orders via WMS.
• Coordinate with the necessary department to resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipments and ensure timely processing of shipments.
• Provide receiving documentation to necessary departments.
• Distribute goods to proper departments as needed.
• Coordinate the staging and labeling of incoming goods.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the receiving area.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and general warehouse duties.
