Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking an IBD Analyst to manage inbound deliveries across multiple distribution centers, ensuring accurate receipt and data integrity in SAP. The role coordinates with Supply Chain, Planning, Buyers, IT, and DC operations to optimize inbound flow and reduce cost.

The position emphasizes high-volume processing and cross-functional collaboration. Based in Louisiana, the role focuses on maintaining data integrity, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives within HYH Field

Responsibilities

• Inbound Delivery (IBD) Creation in SAP (VL31N) per container
• Add container information to IBD deliveries
• Cross-reference P2D and Yard reports to validate delivery dates and line accuracy
• Create IBDs once material is in transit, typically one week prior to arrival
• IBD Delivery Date Management: Update SAP (ME22N) based on Goods Receipt changes
• Ensure alignment between POs, IBDs and transit timelines
• Weekly IBD Tracking & Reporting: Maintain and distribute the weekly IBD tracking report
• Monitor inbound flow across DCs and provide visibility to stakeholders
• Issue Resolution & Escalation: Investigate and resolve IBD failures and communicate updates
• Shortage & Over-Receipt Management: Obtain approvals, create new PO lines, adjust IBDs
• Shortages: Coordinate PO closure with Planner/Buyer
• Network Inventory Health & Visibility: Monitor inventory status and system alignment
